West Face of Mt. Shasta Summit Climb
Guided Climb up the Classic West Face of Mt. Shasta
A three-day guided Summit climb of Mt. Shasta Classic West Face Route. The West Face is one of the less crowded southside routes on Mt. Shasta.
A great climb for those wanting to climb a more challenging, yet scenic route from Mt. Shasta's bunny flat (south side) trailhead. This route is best climbed in late spring to early summer when there is plenty of snow to cover the approach and upper mountain, but some years it is climbable well into August, look for additional dates. Come join SWS Mountain Guides for a exceptional, challenging & scenic climb up Mt. Shasta's West Face.
