Basic Rock Camp
Smith Rock State Park, Joshua Tree National Park,

A relaxing fun filled 5 day Rock Camp vacation for the beginner climber or the rock climber in transition from the rock climbing gym environment. Designed for improving the basics of rock climbing safety and instruction in the hazards and challenges of rock climbing in the natural environment. We will take you from basic belays, knots, rope handling to anchor building, anchor placement and multi-pitch climbing.
Includes: Car Camping, All meals beginning with lunch on the first day to lunch on the last day with breakfast, dinners, sleeping tents, lots of climbing, personal instruction and coaching.

Intermediate to Advanced Rock Camp

A relaxing fun filled 5 day Rock Camp vacation for intermediate to advanced rock climbers. A solid education in traditional (TRAD) leading techniques. This course introduces the climber to the complexities and problems involved in traditional leading on natural rock while climbing multi-pitch routes.
Emphasis is on safe and efficient placement of anchors, belay stances, and efficiency in the leading sequence. Development of sound judgment and decision making is another key element of the course, to safely lead rock on multi-pitch terrain. Includes various multi-pitch routes with emphasis on safety, judgment, and efficiency.

Includes: Car Camping, All meals beginning with lunch on the first day to lunch on the last day with breakfast, dinners, sleeping tents, lots of climbing, personal rock coaching.
