Mt. Whitney
East Face III 5.6 or East Buttress III 5.8

The summit of Mt. Whitney is the highest point in the contiguous United States. Both the East Face and East Buttress take route directly to the summit. Both routes are Siberian Classics. Basic climbing skills and excellent physical conditioning are all that are required for this three-day adventure.
The first day is the approach hike to our base camp. Day two starts early as we head for the summit and descend back to our base camp via the mountaineer's route. Our final day is spent descending the scenic hike out to the Whitney Portal trail head.

palisades

North Palisade is the highest of the Palisade group at 14,242 ft. climbed via the classic u-notch. Requires both alpine ice and snow skills along with alpine rock skill. With several pitches of ice and snow toped off with 2 pitches of rock an exceptional summit. A climb you will not soon forget.
You can also climb little know Polemonium Peak, 14,080 ft. via the same route. Another option for spectacular Sierrian coulior climbing is the steeper v-notch with an ascent of Polemonium Peak with the descent route next to Mt. Sill.
Be sure to give us a call for some fantastic climbing in the most alpine region of the Sierra Nevada range.
