SWS is proud of our long history of helping everyone we can to achieve their goals.  This includes assisting adaptive climbers get outside also.  Adaptive climbers might consist of blind, amputee, or those with T.B.I. and/or other special considerations.  For over a decade we have been helping guests with these, and other challenges reach their goals.

SWS has developed its own internal adaptive training system to prepare guides to work with a guest that has special needs.  Our training, based on work done through the PSIA, AASI, AMGA, SAR, AAA, and other professional programs gives us insight on adapting our guiding techniques.  We have spent the last three decades refining our programs, and we continue to develop and refine them annually. This ensures up to date training and considerations for all guests.
