Our Mt. Elbrus Climb & Ski Expedition combines high-altitude mountaineering with the joy of a ski descent from the highest peak in Europe. At 18,510 feet, Mt. Elbrus rises above the Caucasus Mountains and offers one of the most iconic ski mountaineering adventures in the world. With SWS Mountain Guides, you’ll receive instruction from our US based guides, acclimatization support, and the skills needed to attempt this demanding ascent and with a ski descent.
Our expedition includes a gradual acclimatization schedule, technical training, and guided support throughout the climb. After standing on the summit of Mt. Elbrus, we’ll have the rare opportunity to ski from the roof of Europe, making this both a training ground for bigger peaks and a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
