Kilimanjaro Climbing Expedition & Safari

Our Kilimanjaro Climbing Expedition & Safari is an incredible 14-day journey, led by our SWS Senior staff, alongside experienced local Tanzanian guides and porters. The main objective is to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro, standing tall at 19,341 feet. While the climb doesn’t demand technical climbing skills, it does require a high level of fitness and commitment due to the challenging weather conditions and altitude. The expedition follows the less traveled Rongai Route for the ascent, offering a quieter and more scenic path to the summit. After reaching the peak, we descend via the more popular Marangu Route, providing a varied experience of the mountain’s landscapes.

Participants need to be prepared for a strenuous adventure, where excellent physical conditioning is crucial for success.
