Join us for Alpine Rock Climbing 2, for intermediate to advanced climbers, a thrilling adventure that combines a quick review of basic alpine rock climbing techniques with advanced instruction on protection placement, route finding, alpine climbing techniques, and multi-pitch climbing. We’ll even tackle the selection of one-day Alpine rock climbs, tailoring the experience to match the skill level of our climbers. Our course is perfect for those with previous rock climbing experience (whether outdoors or in the gym) or who have completed a Alpine Rock Climbing 1 or Palisade Mountaineering Camp. Our Alpine Advanced Rock Course spans three consecutive day trips, so no heavy packs to carry. And after an exhilarating day on the rocks, you can make yourself at home by car camping or checking into one of the cozy motels in and around Mammoth Lakes.
