The Summit of Mt. Whitney is the highest point in the contiguous United States. Both the Mt Whitney East Face or Mt Whitney East Buttress take routes directly to the summit. Both routes are Sierra technical Classics routes. To climb these classics you are required to have solid rock climbing skills, desire, and excellent physical conditioning for our three-day adventure on Whitney East Face or Buttress.
We do offer a rock climbing pre-course is for this climb in the Alabama Hills, Lone Pine, CA.
