Guided climbs of the California 14ers
The Sierra Nevada has 13 mountains over 14,000 ft, and California as a whole has one of the largest concentrations of high mountain peaks of anywhere on the west coast. The Mountains of California, and in particular the California 14ers make up what is considered by some to be the most unique alpine climbing in the world. Though many are not technically complicated, all are physically demanding, and all are worth the effort. Each of the 14,000ft peaks of California are unique in it’s own way. From the rocky terrain found on Mt Langley, to mixed ice and snow found on North Palisade, and of course the expansive glaciers on Mt Shasta. Each has it’s own challenges, rewards, and need for a specific set of skills. It’s one of the biggest reasons we’ve been based out of California since our start back in 1981. We have offered guided climbs of them all!
