White Mountain, 14,252 ft, is the highest peak in the White Mountains of California, the third highest mountain in the state after Mt Whitney and Mt Williamson. It is the only fourteener in the contiguous United States, not in the Rocky Mountains, the Cascade Range, or the Sierra Nevada.
